All of the parents in this world surely want to have a normal child when they will face the birth. But in fact, there are many “unlucky” mothers which have abnormal children. It is caused by the birth defects which are happened when the baby is still formed as the embryo. There are many birth defects which are very common in the children and there are many children who suffer it. Those common birth defects are Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder. This disorder makes the children can’t pay attention, sit still, or control their behavior; Autism/Pervasive Developmental Disorder. This disorder is very common and exist in the society. Many children around the world suffer this disorder. Autism can make the children undergo a developmental disability significantly affecting verbal and nonverbal communication and social interaction.

the next is Cerebral Palsy. This disorder attack the part of the brain which control the movement of the nerves and muscles. The sufferers will use a wheel chair to help their movements. The next is sensory problems. This disorder can attack the ears or mouth. It can cause hearing impairment or blindness. After that, there are down syndrome, learning disabilities, Speech and Language Impairments, and Spina Bifida. The last is the common birth defect too for the children. This disorder can create some symptoms such as muscle weakness, poor bowel and bladder control, and a buildup of fluid in the brain. Fortunately, there are many children with Spina Bifida who has done the therapy successfully and enjoy their life with happier feeling and brighter future.

The parents should not be disappointed if they have children with those disorders. They have to support their children fully. They are not allowed to ignore the children like that because those children need extra attention. But in the real situation, many parents especially mother consider that having the children who have special needs is wrong choice. They can take it and ignore their children. They consider that their children are different and weak. It makes the future of those children become darker and darker.
